Charles Barkley again bashed San Francisco, this time around talk of the cold in Indianapolis. "If you had the chance between being cold or being around a bunch of homeless crooks in San Francisco, which would you take?" pic.twitter.com/o0W9aUQCyI

NBA legend Charles Barkley once again put San Francisco on blast during a recent broadcast. Barkley asked a fellow panelist, 'if you had the [choice] between being cold or being around a bunch of homeless crooks in San Francisco' which would you choose? His fellow panelists all gasped and rushed to defend the City of Hobos and various Twitter accounts took yet another chance to dennounce Barkley for being anti-homeless or whatever. I mean, all of this is very obviously reflective of what is happening on the ground here on Planet Earth but some folks don't want that to get in the way to being Corporate Nice.

#MadameWeb bombs with $15.2M 3-day weekend debut

Without checking is this the lowest CBM debut EVER?

Sony has 6-day at just $25.8M

Keep in mind MORBIUS was called a flop with its $39M 3-day debut pic.twitter.com/CReJ763a3a

Madame Web is the latest superhero movie to absolutely bomb it's box office debut. With a lower budget than other failures (~$100 million) this is less of a sting for developer Sony. Although the point of financial success on this movie is probably pegged somewhere closed to $200 million. This continues a recent tradition of making incredibly expensive movies that seem to fail at building an audience.

One weekend in, Madame Web is being called the worst Spider-Man movie of all time. Not exactly a warm reception. I mean, some of these reviews are just absolutely brutal.

Even reviews from media outlets that would be more likely to support the female-led superhero genre, everyone seems united in the opinion that this movie was a massive miss.

Are female-skewing superhero movies dead? Or maybe just the entire superhero category is toast at this point? What do you think?
