Hey Sean, at the beginning of that you said disc golf not golf and I've played disc golf before you played in the woods. You don't have to level anything. You might clear out some stuff on the course, but it's essentially on the woods, but then all the other stories said golf is there's some confusion here or what is going on.
For this whole department of parks things. I think just look at the way they rolled it out and have responded. They're putting out statements after hours on Twitter. So, you know, it's bad when a government office is working late and also they're only giving 1 hour for public comment. So I think that says all you need to know about the park.
What's up, everybody? It's crazy. They want to build more golf courses when there's so many closing down. There's 1 in Palm Bay that closed a few years back that used to be called the majors that has a uh, it was an 18-hole course with a real nice Clubhouse and restaurant and it closed down and now all the houses that used to have Gulf front property are now sitting on Land that's just not even being taken care of or anything anymore. It's all overgrown and their housing prices plummeted. So, you know that they build these golf courses and then if they don't make the money they want they just closed them down and then they have all that clear land for nothing. See ya.
Hey Sean, just listening in on the golf course issue. Uh, which I'm a golfer and I love it, but I would never uh support anything like this. You have to think about all the chemicals also that they use on to make a golf course and to make it that green and that uh, just lush green. Uh, There's a ton of fertilizer and chemicals that they use it's not natural at all. It's like the opposite of what would have been there, you know, the state park is just Natural beauty, so just had to chime in we'll go go go pop pop pop.
Junkies, I have a question about the state parks, can you help me?
Hey junkies, hiker. Mom here quick comment on the whole state park thing. Actually. It's more of a question. Does it mention anywhere in there about the volunteer organizations that are at every single state park because every single state park has a CSO. I used to be on the board of 1 at wakiva Springs State Park and it basically helps to keep the park, you know, beautifying it and activities and they do all the suggestions as to what would attract more people. So has anybody checked with those organizations of those state parks to see if they even want this kind of stuff like shouldn't they have to say first? I don't know, but I haven't read it. So please explain and see if it's in there. Thank you, but Google pop pop pop
Yeah, let me finish my thought my boss walked in. Um, yeah, I'm not in favor of it. I mean, there's golf courses I go out of business left and right we had 3 in Titusville that no longer exists. They won't turn into housing projects. So I'm not I'm not for it screwed to Santa's piece.
Hey guys. Yeah in Georgia State Parks. They have golf courses and stuff like that too, but it's really nice. And uh, but they don't have the beaches and stuff. But like I said, I played up their little 9-hole courses and 15 bucks piece.
Hey guys, Happy Day Sean. Could you please talk about something that I have not seen enough of and that is DeSantis wanting to add pickle ball courts golf courses and lodges to the Florida state parks. I believe there's 9 of them 1 of which involves bulldozing down some projected, uh, Sand Dune areas. And this is all happened kind of in the shadows 1 of the park supervisors didn't even know about it until it broke on the news and I just think it's appalling that we just are going to start, you know, Paving over our natural areas in the state. I find it disgusting. Haven't heard of it look into it, but please I'd like to hear you talk about it.
Hey Junkies. first time dispatch wanted to follow up on your Amazon and Walmart streaming discussion I read an article that Chick-fil-A is going to get into the streaming world, uh focusing on reality shows. Wanted to get your thoughts on that situation. Thank you very much W Squared P Squared.
What's up, guys? Uh, so I've been at Walmart plus member for probably 3 years. I guess. I just have an auto renew. Annually. Um, it was really cool when it first started or when I first got it because it came with uh Paramount Plus for free and now it does not come with that for free anymore. As far as I know but 1 weird thing is if you go to Sam's Club recently, uh, they almost badmouth Walmart plus to try to get you to sign up with whatever their version is called and I guess they don't work together, but it's kind of annoying when they find out you're a Walmart plus member and they try to push you to go with Sam's Club. And in your mind, you're just thinking aren't you guys like the same people? You should just have a a Club Plus Membership in general, but nope doesn't work like that totally different membership. If you want to go with the bulk route. So 1 1 downside I see.
