Hello food Junkies. It was very nice to meet you at the poker tournament on Saturday and take some pictures. I just wanted to share. Why I haven't been posting. Uh, I have Huntington's disease which is uh quite rare. Uh, 200,000 people out of 300 million. So I have memory issues and my brain is basically degenerating. So I'll do what I can when I can remember to do so. spank

Allergy process works at Disney and they tend to hold a much higher standard than other locations outside of property. Now with that being said people do tend to go to Disney because they know that they do have those higher standards now with the process. It's like does it fall on the server? Because the server didn't double check is that the allergy person who literally goes to training specifically for allergies and I know that the third party companies have to follow those same Disney standards when it comes to Allergy process or does it fall on the restaurant or the company, so it's all just kind of a big Miss on everything and you know, it is hard to put blame on 1 person whether it be the person with the allergy or the person presenting the food. So it's definitely a tricky situation doesn't he just needs to give them the money and just not even call it a loss because it's not a loss to them. So that's just my 2 cents.

If you already know who you were voting for prior to that event. You're going to still stick with that part. That's not going to sway you however The DNC looks fire like if you're looking for a club night out, that's the place you want to be. Y'all be easy.

Hey junkies, hiker mom here. So I have an extreme food allergy. I have celiac disease. And for those of you who don't know what celiac disease is. It's someone who is severely allergic to gluten and if I eat gluten. I end up in the hospital because my intestines and my colon shut down. So I had to be very diligent very careful. Uh what I eat where I eat. And so what I do whenever I want to go out to eat is I call the restaurant ahead of time. I go and I look at their menu. See if they have gluten-free options. I make sure that if it is gluten-free are they using different pans? Are they putting it on a different part of the flat top stove? So there's no cross-contamination when you are that severe. You have to put in a lot of extra effort if you want to go out to eat and I'm not saying that this couple didn't cuz they might have but for me, I choose a lot of times just not to go out to eat. And if I do I have to do a lot of homework and I even sometimes ask them. Hey, can I bring my own roles from home? Can I bring you know my own sauces or my own salad dressings or something whatever it is that I want to eat. If there's a part of it that I can't have. I'll ask them if it's okay since I have a food allergy and most of the time the restaurants are pretty okay with it. I've rarely had someone tell me know. So I'm Switzerland on this. I don't I don't have a side whether it's Disney or the other person but as someone with a food allergy, it is extremely difficult and cross-contamination is real. People are humans. They make mistakes. They can be fatal mistakes. And it's sad so it is a risk you take when you go out to eat and it sucks because as a human being we just want to be able to go out there and enjoy ourselves so but it is what it is.
