I doubt it was the smokiest day in history in Chicago today, especially since Chicago burned to the ground because of Mrs. Orys supposed cow kicking over a candle. Hey news. Junkies yeah, Sean, you're pretty correct on the Surplus thing with the government. Uh, Navy veteran here and we had an office. Well, I ran an office and our budget was about 140,000 for the year. You know, buy all new tables, chairs all that stuff. But the next year we didn't need all new tables, chairs and computers but if we didn't spend that 140,000, it went away. So we made sure, we spent it every year. Have a good day guys. We're, we're literally living in 1984 right now in the book. Nobody's paid attention to any kind of wearing that we were received. Uh, Tech is in years ago. Warned us about this about computers and the government just taking over and surveilling everything. And it it's goes back to the principle of the Frog being Dropped into a Boiling Pot of water is just going to drop jump out. Whereas now if you just put them in there to lukewarm and just keep turning the water up a little bit more and more, it gets used to it and we're not going to do anything. So I say just slash the budgets throw their tea in the harbor and let's move on.
So it drives me nuts about politicians and the people that they bring in front of Congress for the, or in front of these different committees is the fact that the people, um, on both sides of the fence are never prepared with facts and 1 of the things that she would have benefited from by saying is the fact that it's been long debated but proven to be far less expensive to house somebody for the rest of their lives, uh, with life in prison with the possibility of pearl. Even if it were 80 years, it's far less expensive than sensing somebody to death because the amount of appeals and the amount of Manpower that is dedicated to um, fight the appeal and to hold up the, uh, death penalty can Addiction is is is just so much more expensive and more of a burden on the taxpayer. You know like most every other country in the world, just get rid of the death penalty. Put people in, you know, life in prison without the possibility of parole parole and it's so much cheaper. So you know the facts are not being said properly as usual, with all these politicians and it sucks.
