Hello. News. Junkies, long time listener. First time dispatcher Talking about AOL, I'm a day behind, but I'm a 1994 kid, so kind of grew up in that time frame. First Time, online, aim, all that. But, uh, I was at a Spencer's, I think a couple weeks ago and you know, they asked for your email and I still have my AOL account and it couldn't have been more than 1718 and she goes What's your email and I say blah blah. Blah ataol.com and she goes what I said, aol.com. She goes I I've never heard of that 1 before and then says can you spell it? And that I was like, wow, I am old and this generation is, dude. That's it. Wiggle, wiggle, pop, pop, pop. Have a good 1, guys.

Uh, I just wanted to chime in on the DC situation as someone who travels there frequently for work. Um, you know, I'm in DC in Baltimore a couple times a month. I'm literally in Baltimore right now. As as I leave this dispatch, these areas are not the war zone. They want you to believe they are. And I say this as someone who frequently uh, goes off the beaten path and tries to find cool places and the interesting places uh that are not the tourist areas. It's the same thing they did with Portland and San Francisco and Chicago and all these places where they tell you. Oh my God, it's terrible, it's a war zone. Uh, don't go there, you'll be murdered or, or robbed or whatever, and it's really just, just, just just be smart, don't be a dumb person. Be aware of your surroundings, and you will be fine and that goes for literally every city. So this is, uh, completely unfounded in my opinion.

Things catching up on bits of the show. I missed yesterday, Sabrina had mentioned the the giant bunker over in Mount Dora. So back in the 1950s during uh, the start of the Cold War, a bunch of families pulled their resources together and created this communal bunker. Um, it was lavish had a pool and all that and there were individual homes that had their own bunkers. Uh, back in the early 2000s, I was actually a photo assistant for a friend of mine and he um did photography for a local Lake County publication and we got to go into 1 of those bunker homes. um another quick little Mount door effect uh a last Babylon by Pat Frank uh detailing uh uh what could happen if uh Nukes were launched, uh, between the US and Russia, um, that takes place in Mount Dora. So, anyways, uh, later.

News junkies, what's up? Hey, Sean earlier you said we wouldn't know that a big storm would be coming in the past. I tend to disagree, think about this, if you notice right before a big storm, you'll see squirrels Gathering and hoarding nuts. Um, everybody will tell you that it's a great time to go fishing right before storm because they they feel it. They know it's coming and they feed. They feed a lot. So I think as we've grown More conscience, maybe more. uh, you know, hooked on technology, we've lost that sense of Mother Nature that I think. a lot of the other animals still have in this world so food for thought, Their boys.
