Hey news junkies um, you know about turgidity, my mom used to use that word all the time that sounds bad. Um, my mom used to say that when it would get hot out in Hawaii, the flowers will have lost their turgidity, which means they basically look kind of wilted because all the moisture is out of them. So, when something is turgid, I always imagined it being kind of upright and full of You know, life let's say. So this is a word that I've been hearing for my entire life.
