Richard Lewis Dead At 76, 'Curb' Star Was Battling Parkinson's

Comedian Richard Lewis has died at 76 years old. Lewis, a star known for his legendary standup and appearances on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' alongside Larry David, had been battling Parkinson's for the last several years. Richard Lewis was also a star on the big screen with appearances in movies like Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Daddy Dearest and many others.

Lewis was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2023 following a brain scan but seemed to take everything in stride at the time.


'I'm finished with standup, I'm just focusing on writing and acting. I have Parkinson's disease but I'm under a doctor's care and everything is cool and I love my wife, I love my little puppy dog and I love all of my friends and my fans.'


Lewis is being remembered by many of his celebrity and non-celebrity fans alike online.
