It's actually just happened to me on a flight last Thursday. I was going to Connecticut and I got scared under the plane. I go back to my seat already pretty full cuz I like to be the last one on the plane and somebody was in my seat. They pulled up there and it was exact same seat number, but luckily the middle of the plane was in full. So I have my own room and everything else, but it does happen occasionally.
