Having to Fire someone while in a Halloween costume

Hey guys, it's Ricky here. Um, so I'm in HR consultant and many moons ago, I used to work in Corporate America as an HR leader and 1 Halloween. There was a Halloween contest at work and I showed up looking like Winnie, the Pooh. But what I didn't know is 1 of my employees who was conducting an investigation at work? She had to call out sick. So now I had to finish the investigation and let somebody know that their job was terminated that day. So to paint the picture, I was in the office dressed as Winnie. The Pooh firing somebody. The dude. Looked at me just confused started laughing because he's never been fired by Winnie, the Pooh before and that was a big lesson for me. I don't care what's happening at work but it's an HR professional. You should never show up to work dressed uh, in a costume because you might have to jump into a meeting. So boohoo, I mean, for not bringing a necessary set of clothes, I just poor planning on my part but nonetheless freaking hilarious.
