CLANE CHANGE YOUR FLIGHT!
Hey guys. So I guess we're going to have a a hurricane now. Um, kind of bummed that I'm not going to hear anybody from the News Junkie overnight. So, uh, I guess we'll just deal with that sea Lane, uh, but Uh, if you're thinking about changing your flight to the afternoon on Friday, I absolutely recommend you doing that. From uh, from a fat guy that works at the airport. I don't believe you're going to be flying out Friday morning, so if you can change that flight, go ahead and do that. All right, y'all be safe.

Nuance take on the vehicular homicide
Hey guys. Happy hurricane day and uh, hurricane weekends. Um, just wanted to chime in regarding the vehicular homicide case that we've been talking about this week. Um, I think I have a more nuanced take on this, which is he does not deserve life, but he does deserve some punishment. I don't have a problem with speeding. I am happy to do triple digit speeds if the road conditions and the vehicle climb in allow for it. The sunny day, it's dry. Go for it. No traffic, even better. This person was driving at 100 miles an hour in the dark on a road. That as far as I'm aware, does not have lights. The difference in distance traveled between 100 Mi an hour and 70 miles an hour is like 2,00 feet per minute. So, how do you have seen the vehicle at the same time? At 100 versus 70, he would have had had an extra 2,000 feet at minimum. To steer away to avoid the accident. That again, is in a minute. Sit there and think for a minute. I'm not going to actually sit here in silence for a minute, but just think about how long that time is for you to have avoided something. It's kind of enough to have it not occurred at all, to be honest. Um, I think it's very unfortunate that people died in this vehicle, but at the end of the day, he was the DD. He was responsible for them, and he chose to drive. Again, in my opinion. Based on the way I drive. He was he was being Reckless. If it was the middle of the day it was sunny out. It wasn't raining. There wasn't cars around. Go for it. Go as fast as that. Car will go 155 probably. Okay, maybe that's a little fast but my point is the speed isn't really the problem. If the conditions allow for it, which they didn't. Him being the DD. I I didn't know I I just feel like he is a little more responsible than we're letting on. And maybe other people agree. I don't know. It seems like the vibe was let him walk. Let him walk out just cuz he was going a little fast, big deal. I don't really share that perspective as someone who enjoys driving, very fast. Um, I especially wouldn't be doing that with passengers in the car. Pop, pop, pop.

My two kiddos with Milton well wishes

Shoulder use
And using the shoulder is only for going below, 40 mph.

I-75 traffic
Hey guys, it's Mike. The trucker just giving you a firsthand account of the, uh, traffic on I75. I took it from Ocala, South to the turnpike to head to Orlando this morning and traffic was terrible on I-75 Northbound. Definitely would avoid it if you can. All right guys, I'll be safe.

Similar case in Ocala ?
It is junkies uh, great interview with the the mother of Devon's mother. Um, Probably about 10 years ago. Um, maybe 10 or 12 years ago here in Ocala. There was a, uh, a gentleman that was going down, uh, about 27 and, um, He, uh, encountered someone that either jumped off a bridge or jumped in front of his car. That was trying to commit suicide. And he, he succeeded and the uh, driver of the vehicle had low amounts of alcohol similar to Devon's case and he was charged with vehicular homicide. Um I never knew how it turned out. I don't know why I lost interest in it but uh that was a story that was going around the Ocala area for a while was crazy. Uh great interview though uh just fantastic interview. I wish her well have a great day guys.

Against MADD
Hey guys, happy day, uh, I think it's pretty easy to stand up against somewhat against, uh, Mothers Against Drunk Driving. They're basically modern-day, uh, prohibitionist or temperance movement, people. They want it insanely tax alcohol. I understand not wanting people to drive drunk, but they don't want anyone to get drunk. Uh, so yeah, they can go pound sand.

Medical insurance covering mandatory zone
Hey News, Junkie Big Daddy Dave again? You know, in reference to the medical insurance covering a person. That got hurt in a zone that was mandatory evacuation.
